What curriculum do you follow?
I don’t stick rigidly to one set curriculum. I like to adapt lessons based on what works best for each student. While I get ideas from established methods, I make sure to adjust the materials to fit each student’s needs.
How do you plan lessons?
I start by understanding each student’s current knowledge and how they prefer to learn. Then, I set clear goals and create activities that match their learning style. I use a mix of different things like videos, interactive exercises, and real-life examples to make lessons interesting.
How do you measure progress?
I check how students are doing every day with short quizzes and assignments. Periodically, I do more thorough assessments to see overall progress. I encourage students to talk about what’s working and what’s challenging so we can make learning better together.
What materials/tools do you use?
I use a variety of tools to keep things interesting. This includes textbooks, online resources, and sometimes hands-on activities. I try to keep up with new technology to use tools that make learning easier (e.g. Jamboard, Kahoot, Wordwall, etc.)
How can you help students with their long-term goals?
I help students plan for the future by setting realistic goals. We talk regularly about their progress and any challenges they’re facing. I also share tips on good study habits and time management to help them keep growing both academically and personally.

What happens when you book a lesson?
You select a date and time that works for you on the tutor’s individual calendars on their profile page. You can do one of the following:
- Book a FREE 20-minute Discovery Call (Chat about your goals & meet your tutor before booking!).
- Book a 30-minute class – price varies per tutor.
- Book a paid 1-hour class – price varies per tutor.
How long are the lessons?
Our lessons are 30 or 60 minutes, but you can book for a longer time if you desire. Or book lessons in bulk for a discounted price once you find a tutor you’re comfortable with. The discounts are on each tutor’s page.
What are you going to learn in each lesson?
The lesson plan is designed according to your needs. Do you need to learn more past or future tense? Help with your pronunciation? Are you looking to become more fluent and confident in your words? All is possible with our tutors, some of whom have been teaching Spanish for over 20 years.
Why should you book a lesson?
You won’t get the same level of service at a large tutoring company. We are a small & dedicated team of tutors and admin support who are here to help you learn Spanish.
