How Does it Work?
If you are ready to start tutoring Spanish online with LinguaLinkup.com, you can email us at support@lingualinkup.com or fill in the form on this page. We will review your curriculum, perform a background check, and conduct a brief interview about your language & tutoring/teaching skill sets, and then once approved, we’ll create a profile on our website for you. There is no cost for creating a profile or an interview. Once we create a profile for you, you will be able to receive inquiries for lessons. The student pays for the class before the lesson starts, and we pay you every Friday at 5:00 pm EST. You pay LinguaLinkup.com a set dollar amount per 1-hour lesson: $6 and per 30-minute lesson: $4
Who Qualifies?
You will need to be a Certified Spanish speaker & intermediate/fluent in English. And then you will also need 1 of the 3 qualifications below:
- 2 years experience minimum teaching/tutoring.
- Teaching/Tutoring Degree or Certification
- Have a specialized background (Medicine, Legal, Children, etc.)
- Everyone is welcome! But being from LATAM or US Based is a Plus.
What is the Interview Process?
- First, we request and review your curriculum, how you plan lessons, the tools/materials you use, and how you measure progress with your students.
- If we approve your curriculum and lesson planning, we move onto a video interview with yourself and Lingua Linkup.
- If you then pass the interview, we proceed with creating your profile.
How Much Does it Cost?
You can set your price to what you feel comfortable choosing according to your experience and your reviews on the website. You pay LinguaLinkup.com a set dollar amount per 1-hour lesson: $6 and per 30-minute lesson: $4. So for example, if you charge $12/hour, we will list you as $18/hour and pay you $12 per hour.
Lingua Linkup will take care of all the backend business from billing your student to paying you to your account. The students pay us for the lesson, and we make payments to tutors every Friday at 5:00 pm EST. We make payments to PayPal, but we are flexible and if you have another platform you prefer to be paid through, let our support know. We’ll see if we can set up your account to be paid the way you wish.

You are free to use any video platform the tutor and student feel most comfortable using, we are OK with this.
How Do I Find Students?
Lingua Linkup will find students for you at no cost. Through our marketing, we will bring visitors to LinguaLinkup.com, and they will request 20-minute free consultations or 30-60 minute paid lessons on your personal calendar on our website. You will then communicate with them through email, text message, or WhatsApp to coordinate your lesson.
Creating a Profile
You just need to email our support team (support@lingualinkup.com) and we’ll start the interview process with you. If you qualify, the Lingua Linkup team will create a profile on our website for you. Then when the students visiting our website inquire with you for a lesson, you’ll be alerted by email or text – your choice – about the next lesson.
