What are my Lessons Like?
What curriculum do you follow?
I don’t have only a curriculum to follow, it depends on the type of students I have and what they need to achieve or what they want the lesson for.
How do you plan lessons?
I always plan lessons considering if the lessons are to pass an exam, or just to improve, I always plan the lessons taking in account the results we want to achieve. Always we introduce something new, we review something they know, and we work with different materials, even for a same thing. For example, if they are learning parts of the house, we will use flashcards with the things they know, depending on the age we introduce some new ones. After we will work with the same vocabulary, maybe describing a picture, or writing the names of the items…
How do you measure progress?
I measure progress taking in account different skills, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary… At the end of the lesson plan, I always try to do a review to know if the really have acquired the knowledge, and I try to use the new lesson plans introducing old things so they don’t forget them.
What materials/tools do you use?
It really depends again on the age and the goals of the students, but I have many materials, visual ones, texts, flash cards, sheets…
How can you help students with their long-term goals?
First of all if that is possible listen to the student to know what are the goals, and then I think that there is an academic part and a psychologic part to, you can help your students, with good feedback, encouraging them to make an effort … and also working with them through the tasks…

What happens when you book a lesson?
You select a date and time that works for you on the tutor’s individual calendars on their profile page. You can do one of the following:
- Book a FREE 20-minute Discovery Call (Chat about your goals & meet your tutor before booking!).
- Book a 30-minute class – price varies per tutor.
- Book a paid 1-hour class – price varies per tutor.
How long are the lessons?
Our lessons are 30 or 60 minutes, but you can book for a longer time if you desire. Or book lessons in bulk for a discounted price once you find a tutor you’re comfortable with. The discounts are on each tutor’s page.
What are you going to learn in each lesson?
The lesson plan is designed according to your needs. Do you need to learn more past or future tense? Help with your pronunciation? Are you looking to become more fluent and confident in your words? All is possible with our tutors, some of whom have been teaching Spanish for over 20 years.
