What Are My Lessons Like?
What curriculum do you follow?
I’m familiar with the contents of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages CEFR, as well as the American Council of Foreign Language Teaching curriculum. I can create a personalized program for each of my students based on their level and needs.
How do you plan lessons?
Every lesson I plan is based on a topic that suits the student’s needs and interests. I choose materials and activities based on the student’s level, age, and goals. If a student wants to put a little extra focus on some aspect (writing, speaking, …) we can spend more time during class working on that.
How do you measure progress?
I will measure my students’ progress by organizing multiple activities where they can put the language into practice. We can elaborate oral presentations, written tests, conversations and discussions about a particular subject. We will keep track of the contents we have learned and the ones we still need to work on.
What materials/tools do you use?
I use Spanish textbooks for foreigners to learn grammar points and to do exercises during class, as well as presentations on Google Slides, PDF exercises, videos, and online games where the student can interact with the language.
How can you help students with their long-term goals?
I always give my students feedback and let them realize how capable they are now to use the language compared to before. A big goal can be achieved by small steps on a regular basis. Motivation is key, and I will encourage my students to give their best version of themselves!

What happens when you book a lesson?
You select a date and time that works for you on the tutor’s individual calendars on their profile page. You can do one of the following:
- Book a FREE 20-minute Discovery Call (Chat about your goals & meet your tutor before booking!).
- Book a 30-minute class – price varies per tutor.
- Book a paid 1-hour class – price varies per tutor.
How long are the lessons?
Our lessons are 30 or 60 minutes, but you can book for a longer time if you desire. Or book lessons in bulk for a discounted price once you find a tutor you’re comfortable with. The discounts are on each tutor’s page.
What are you going to learn in each lesson?
The lesson plan is designed according to your needs. Do you need to learn more past or future tense? Help with your pronunciation? Are you looking to become more fluent and confident in your words? All is possible with our tutors, some of whom have been teaching Spanish for over 20 years.
Why should you book a lesson?
