Interests: What I like the most is traveling, visiting new countries, and learning about other cultures and traditions. It helps me to be more open and aware of the world we live in. When not traveling, I like to go to parks and drink “mates” with friends (a typical Argentinian drink), enjoy nature and open spaces. I like writing, reading, cooking, and trying new recipes, listening to music, and dancing. I’m also an activist, so I’m interested in history, politics, among others.

What curriculum do you follow?
I follow the “Marco Común Europeo de Referencia” (MCER) to determine the levels and work on the skills and topics required for each level.
How do you plan lessons?
My lessons are based on the Communicative Approach. So, we practice mostly oral skills in class. I present a relevant topic (based on the student interest and also the level; I use material produced by native speakers). Then, we discuss the topic, learning vocabulary, expressions, and so on. And we also focus on grammar. At the end of the class, we review the class and I give them some homework to keep working and practice.
How do you measure progress?
I do not take exams, but I propose homework and exercises at the end of each unit to measure progress. That information is relevant for me since I can have knowledge of how the student is doing with the topic covered and if there is anything that should be reviewed or explained again.
What tools/materials do you use?
I usually send the students some questions before we start the lessons to get to know them, their interests, hobbies, language background, and goals. Based on this, I prepare customized material with exercises, grammar explanations, videos, audio, and so on…
How can you help students achieve their long-term goals?
Depending on their goals, I can share some tips with them that can help to reach that goal. Also, I can suggest other activities extra class that they can try to improve the use of the language and provide regular feedback to see what works better for them.

What happens when you book a lesson?
You select a date and time that works for you on the tutor’s individual calendars on their profile page. You can do one of the following:
- Book a FREE 20-minute Discovery Call (Chat about your goals & meet your tutor before booking!).
- Book a 30-minute class – price varies per tutor.
- Book a paid 1-hour class – price varies per tutor.
How long are the lessons?
Our lessons are 30 or 60 minutes, but you can book for a longer time if you desire. Or book lessons in bulk for a discounted price once you find a tutor you’re comfortable with. The discounts are on each tutor’s page.
What are you going to learn in each lesson?
The lesson plan is designed according to your needs. Do you need to learn more past or future tense? Help with your pronunciation? Are you looking to become more fluent and confident in your words? All is possible with our tutors, some of whom have been teaching Spanish for over 20 years.
