I don’t follow a strict curriculum, but rather adapt my teaching to each student’s unique goals and learning style. My approach is flexible, ensuring that the lessons are relevant and personalized. Whether the student is learning for travel, work, or personal enrichment, I focus on building practical skills in vocabulary, grammar, and conversation. How do you plan lessons?
I plan lessons with the student’s improvement in mind. Each lesson is tailored based on where the student is in their language journey and what they hope to achieve. I make the classes interactive and engaging by using a mix of grammar, vocabulary, and conversation practice, alongside multimedia resources like videos, articles, and music. Additionally, I create monthly projects that allow students to apply what they’ve learned and track their progress in a fun and measurable way.
How do you measure progress?
Progress is measured continuously throughout each lesson. I assess improvement through quizzes, written exercises, and regular conversations, but most importantly, I create monthly projects that give a clear view of the student’s development. These projects are designed to challenge the student and highlight areas of growth. After each session, I provide feedback, ensuring that the student knows where they’re excelling and what needs more attention. Celebrating achievements along the way is key to keeping them motivated. Also, I assign a monthly project related to grammar, speaking and vocabulary.
What materials/tools do you use?
I use a variety of materials and tools to support the student’s learning. This includes textbooks, interactive exercises, videos, and podcasts. I also make my own slides on Canva that include grammar, exercises, extra information, homework and more. I create custom materials like vocabulary lists, worksheets, and the monthly projects that track progress. The goal is always to give students the resources they need to succeed and continue improving outside of class.
How can you help students with their long-term goals?
I help students achieve their long-term goals by creating a personalized learning plan that aligns with what they want to accomplish. I focus on consistent progress, setting milestones that are celebrated once reached. Each month, I prepare projects that are designed to reinforce what we’ve learned and help the student stay on track. By regularly reviewing these projects and providing constructive feedback, I ensure that the student is steadily moving towards their language goals.

What happens when you book a lesson?
You select a date and time that works for you on the tutor’s individual calendars on their profile page. You can do one of the following:
- Book a FREE 20-minute Discovery Call (Chat about your goals & meet your tutor before booking!).
- Book a 30-minute class – price varies per tutor.
- Book a paid 1-hour class – price varies per tutor.
How long are the lessons?
Our lessons are 30 or 60 minutes, but you can book for a longer time if you desire. Or book lessons in bulk for a discounted price once you find a tutor you’re comfortable with. The discounts are on each tutor’s page.
What are you going to learn in each lesson?
The lesson plan is designed according to your needs. Do you need to learn more past or future tense? Help with your pronunciation? Are you looking to become more fluent and confident in your words? All is possible with our tutors, some of whom have been teaching Spanish for over 20 years.
Why should you book a lesson?
