What curriculum do you follow?
I use open planning based on each student’s requirements and their level of Spanish.
Each class is tailored for each student and their speed of learning/progress.
Generally, classes are divided into blocks of 15 minutes of conversation – 25 minutes of grammar – 10 minutes of exercises, and 10 minutes of clarification and doubts.
How do you plan lessons?
I always plan each lesson in advance based on the ongoing evaluation of the students’ level.
Lessons are planned with relevant teaching materials, readings, and exercises. I also like to understand the students’ preferred topics of interest to discuss.
How do you measure progress?
Each student’s progress is measured by various types of constant evaluation. I keep a constant measure of their written exercises, conversation, and reading comprehension along with the occasional testing.
What materials/tools do you use?
My teaching material will depend on each student but will come from the following, PDF files – TXT documents – Presentations and slides – Audio files – Images – Videos – Flashcards – Articles and news – Quizzes – Test templates or examples – Homework or assignments.
How can you help students with their long-term goals?
By dedicating time in every class to increase the students’ vocabulary and correct use of grammar so they can gain confidence when speaking and functioning in Spanish.

What happens when you book a lesson?
You select a date and time that works for you on the tutor’s individual calendars on their profile page. You can do one of the following:
- Book a FREE 20-minute Discovery Call (Chat about your goals & meet your tutor before booking!).
- Book a 30-minute class – price varies per tutor.
- Book a paid 1-hour class – price varies per tutor.
How long are the lessons?
Our lessons are 30 or 60 minutes, but you can book for a longer time if you desire. Or book lessons in bulk for a discounted price once you find a tutor you’re comfortable with. The discounts are on each tutor’s page.
What are you going to learn in each lesson?
The lesson plan is designed according to your needs. Do you need to learn more past or future tense? Help with your pronunciation? Are you looking to become more fluent and confident in your words? All is possible with our tutors, some of whom have been teaching Spanish for over 20 years.
